Regulations for intrastate (within a state) moves differ from regulations for interstate (between states) moves. Do not assume that a mover in Orangeburg will accept payment by credit card because you have a nationally recognized charge or credit card that it will be accepted for payment. You should inform your agent of any items that you decided for him/her to pack. Items in boxes not packed by the mover are not covered, unless the outside of the carton provides clear evidence that the entire box was damaged during the move. |
