Most states, and especially California require that movers carry worker’s compensation insurance. Under a non-binding moving estimate, the mover cannot require you to pay more than the amount of the estimate, plus 10 percent, (or 110% of the estimate amount) at the time of delivery. Be sure to include prescription, vaccination records and eyeglass specifications before your moving. Total Loss Only can be purchased at any time before the Stockton movers begin packing your goods, while All Risk insurance must typically be purchased no later than two (2) days before the pack date. |
